A new release of ColdFusion may not be that exciting now many people have got on board with PHP, Rails, etc, ColdFusion has almost been forgotten until this latest release of ColdFusion by Adobe. There have been strong improvements to PDF and spreadsheet handling, object relational mapping (ORM) built right in, tight integration with Flex, new and improved Ajax features, and a brand new, Eclipse-powered ColdFusion IDE.
